Deborah McLeod, MA, LPC-S
As a psychotherapist, I have served people in the Houston area for the past 31 years. I have worked with a diverse group of clients presenting with a wide range of issues.
I strive to help clients feel safe and comfortable so that they can talk about absolutely anything they choose. I believe it is essential that we build a strong therapeutic relationship so that you succeed in resolving issues, making wanted changes and reaching chosen goals. I enjoy helping people build a life worth living based on their own values.
I use a variety of methods in working with clients, based on the individual’s needs. My eclectic approach includes Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness, and other modalities. I have experience in working with grief and loss, LGBTQ+ issues, chronic illness, HIV/AIDS, end-of-life issues, depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship issues, feelings work, adult and childhood history of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse/trauma, and myriad other issues.
